The Zen-like Maison des Services is located at the heart of the Latécoère tertiary campus.
The Latécoère services house is a big pavilion in the park that surrounds the Latécoère company’s head offices.
Like tea houses, this modest place gives a strong signal grounded in
its landscape. lndeed it shows the possible synergies between a high tech company like Latécoère and low tech design.
The choice of wood as the only building material assumes all the challenges inherent in this material: its technology, its specific assemblies and its aesthetics.
Beams, posts, floors, joists, terraces, cladding, walls, woodwork and canopy sing a hymn to its materiality. The two species used, larch and spruce, nuance the overall tone.
Frugal and resilient, this project is part of a low-carbon process that participates in the ecological transition that the Latécoère company, on its scale, adheres to.
