Issy A2

The concept of a volumetric break, whether total or partial, is one of the fundamental elements of our approach to the block, addressing the challenges of density.

The fragmentation of volumes allows us to create an urban edge condition aligned with the context, while promoting unobstructed views for each building, pleasant sightlines, and deep vistas, making the block appear more porous and open.

The interruptions between the different built volumes of lot A2 promote the autonomy of each building, multiplying the views and orientations of the dwellings.

The intermediate setback levels interrupt the continuous façade and offer a diversity of living spaces, with large terraces and large bay windows.

Each level features large balconies with variable geometry, providing a generous expression of the private outdoor spaces of the dwellings.

These balconies are connected by metal tension rods that lend the overall structure a sense of slenderness and lightness, with the fineness of these posts seeming to defy gravity.

Lot A2 plays on uniformity of color and nuances of materials. The contrast between traditional rough brick and the more contemporary white-stained concrete effect adds subtlety and diversity without detracting from the overall impression of a cohesive ensemble, whose whiteness contrasts with the green surroundings and neighboring buildings.
