In Paris, a street corner is always seen as an urban and architectural event.<\/p>\n\n\n

Located at the southern gateway to Paris, Maison Yersin is a day hospital for Alzheimer<\/em>‘s sufferers and a residence for the elderly in precarious situations, a last refuge for those who have lived part of their lives on the streets and for whom the city is finally offering a place and visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n

This cocoon is occupied by comfortable studios, each with a loggia that can be closed off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concrete of the fa\u00e7ade has been tinted using a mixture of colored powders. The resulting texture and shades of brown and red are reminiscent of the rust and brick of neighboring homes, a metaphor for old age which, like a rusty ship, remains definitely docked\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
